Career Confidence

Career confidence is a troubling issue for many clients. Struggles with career confidence are problematic for clients because it makes it difficult for them to hear their calling, and more importantly it prevents them from pursuing what they really want.

It ranges from being something annoying and troublesome but easy to shake off with just a little effort, to completely immobilizing. Career confidence affects a variety of clients differently. Here are some common examples:

  • I already have a senior position, but I’m afraid to admit I’m not happy
  • I finally raised my kids and now it’s time for me, but my skills are outdated
  • I was laid off and I’d like to start a consulting practice – can this work?
  • I’d like career to be a bigger part of my life, I just don’t know how
  • I’m uncomfortable “selling myself”

Increasing career confidence can be as easy as identifying transferable skills, scoring your current proficiency level, and setting goals for improvement.

If career confidence is something you struggle with, I’d like to help. Everyone has something valuable to offer, and that includes you. It’s normal to lack some confidence, especially if something has set you back. Get the help you need to grow your career, return to work, or get that promotion!
